Hey, I am Christoph. I am a Cloud Systems Engineer. When I am not deploying AWS infrastructure or doing heavy DIY work around the house, I build small tools. I like tools that solve exactly one problem and just work.

Why This Exists

Chimney cross-section calculations per DIN EN 13384-1 are necessary but complex. Before you hire a chimney sweep or planner, you want to know: does my appliance even fit my chimney? Or am I planning past the physics?

DruckZugPro gives you a quick pre-check. Not a full dimensioning (you need a professional for that), but a solid indication of whether the combination of stove and chimney can work in principle.

What It Does

  • Configurator — Enter appliance and chimney parameters, get results immediately.
  • Appliance Database — Many common wood stoves with their technical specifications.
  • Calculators — Individual calculations for condensation, flow, and temperature.
  • Projects — Save and compare calculations locally.

Technology

Built with Astro and TypeScript. All calculations run locally in the browser. No server processing. Projects are saved in Local Storage. Appliance data comes from official manufacturer specifications and the HKI registry.
